Specialist Philosophy Teachers
Training with us as a Specialist means becoming the member of a group of philosophers who can share ideas, experiences and good practice. We offer regular get-togethers, continued professional development and ongoing support as you work in schools.
As part of our initiative to provide more Specialist Philosophy Teachers in schools we run courses for attendees to become Registered Specialist with us. There are two stages of training but you can start practising and earning through us after completing Stage 1 of the training.
To be a registered Specialist with us your work in schools must be observed and approved by The Philosophy Foundation. Once you have been accredited you can join our website as a Specialist Philosophy Teacher member and practice under our name.
